Top Attractions For Maryborough
Maryborough Family Heritage Institute
- Provides the inspiration to trace a family history and helps visitors research their ancestry. It is also there to help source the history of buildings, war veterans or railway constructions, or to help organise family or immigrant ship reunions.
Brennan And Geraghty's Store Museum
- The large timber grocery store was opened as a museum about itself and its place in the community. It is a rare survivor of Maryborough's commercial heritage surviving intact with its own contents.
Maryborough Heritage Gateway Project
- Its purpose is to interpret the cultural heritage of Maryborough by linking heritage sites and collections in the Maryborough area into an integrated cultural tourism experience, with the focus on the Customs House, the existing Bond Store Museum and the Wharf Street Precinct. The Maryborough Heritage Gateway is open seven days a week, with the exception of Christmas Day and Good Friday.
Queens Park
- The Park is a cool retreat with waterfall, flowers, shrubs and trees, it is situated within an easy stroll of the City Hall and overlooks the Mary River.
Rosehill Homestead
- Set in a picturesque park overlooking the Mary River, it is a must see for those on the heritage trail in Maryborough. Rosehill features rich cedar fittings and delicately etched and coloured glass, imported from Italy; attractive round brick columns at the front of the house are a unique feature.

Maryborough Heritage Markets

You can experience a train trip on the Mary Ann which operates every Thursday.
Teddington Weir and Picnic Reserve
